The plain terms.
By using Aware you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. What Aware keeps about you is on the privacy page.
What Aware is
A connector, nothing more.
Aware is a service from Nekyia Labs ("we"). It gives your AI a short brief about your weather, light, sky, dates and the things it watches for. It doesn't act for you, buy anything, or read your conversations. Aware is free to use.
You
Your account, your agents.
- You need to be 18 or over to use Aware.
- You sign in with Google or GitHub. Keep that account safe; anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to Aware.
- You're responsible for the apps and keys you connect, and for what they do in your account. If an agent does something you didn't want, change it back, revoke the app, or replace the key under Agents and keys.
- The apps you connect, such as Claude or ChatGPT, are run by other companies under their own terms.
Fair use
Don't lean on it too hard.
- Use Aware for yourself and your own agents.
- Don't scrape it, resell it, or flood it with requests. The limits are listed in the docs.
- Don't try to get at other people's data, get round the limits, or break the service.
- Don't use Aware for anything where a wrong or late brief could put someone at risk. For severe weather, health or travel safety, use official sources.
What we can promise
Our best, and no more.
- Aware is provided as it is, without warranties. It may be down, slow or wrong from time to time. Weather, sky and news come from other services. Model dates come from providers' own pages, read daily, and may have changed since. Check the source before you depend on one.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using Aware or relying on what it says. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to £100.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.
Changes
When things change.
- We may change or stop features. We say so in the changelog, ahead of time where we can.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top changes and the changelog says what changed. For a change that matters, we email you first. If you keep using Aware after a change, you accept the new terms.
- If we ever close Aware, we'll give at least 30 days' notice where we can, so you can export your data.
Leaving
You can go whenever.
- You can delete everything at once from your account. It's gone when you do.
- We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or harms the service or other people. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.
The law
Where these stand.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections your local law gives you.
- If one part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still stands.
